From September 12-16, 2022, the Blockchain Autumn School will take place for the sixth time at the Blockchain Competence Center Mittweida (BCCM), Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. The entire conference will be web-based, conducted by Zoom and is free of charge.
More than 25 well-known partners such as Siemens, Bosch, IBM, T-Systems, Deutsche Bahn, Lufthansa, EnBW, Volksbank Mittweida as well as many research institutions such as Fraunhofer FIT, Frankfurt School, FH Südwestfalen and HTW Dresden will present their latest applications and research focuses.
With its more than 45 events, the Autumn School focuses on education and training in the field of blockchain. On the one hand, the lectures and practical units impart basic knowledge. On the other hand, there are a variety of industry-specific lectures on the topics of “Energy” (on Sept. 12), “Logistics” (on Sept. 13) as well as “Decentralized Finance” (on Sept. 14).
Thursday (15.09.) is all about science and research. In the Scientific Track, selected scientists may present their approaches and results for discussion and hope for the Best Paper Award.
BAS2022 also offers an exciting social program with a virtual panel discussion (Sept. 15), two digital blockchain meetups (Sept. 12 and 13) and a themed session (Sept. 14). Here, the focus will be on topics such as blockchain ecosystems, European Public Network and the Metaverse. The week will be rounded off by an online innovation forum and the demonstrator day of the blockchain showcase region Mittweida at Werkbank 32 (in cooperation with the city of Mittweida). On the one hand, there is the opportunity to discuss & further develop exciting blockchain project ideas. On the other hand, you can expect exciting project presentations on innovative Blockchain applications from different industries.
